Fly Spy

My name is Bob. I am a fly. Oh, I guess you are all flies aren’t you. Well I have not had a very good day, but since you asked me to tell my story, I will tell you.

I work for the head of the living room government. I guess you could call me a government fly. This morning, the chief came to me with a strange assignment. He said that a large sugar deposit had been spotted near Sector Five of the kitchen region. He told me that normally the area is engulfed in flames, and now we finally had an opening to discover what lay beneath those flames.

I left the base on Couch Cushion 2 after about four hours of mission briefing and general preparation. There were a few problems with take off, but after dropping a few milligrams of excess weight I was flying steady. However, before I was even able to escape the living room, I had to perform some extra crafty flight maneuvers to avoid enemy capture.

Once I entered the kitchen, it was not difficult to find my target. There in the middle of the sector was the enormous red half-sphere that I was looking for. Cautiously, I flew in for a closer look. This red matter is encased within an invisible field of some kind, but I eventually found a hole near the top. I immediately flew down for a landing on the vast red plane. However, the landing was not as smooth as it should have been.

That is when I met up with all of you. Now, I must get back to my home base and report my findings, but I cannot seem to be able to move around down here, I cannot fly either. This red sugar is gunking up my wings. Please, tell me where I am. Tell me how to get out of here. There is a way out, right?
